About Vivekananda Rock Memorial
The memorial stands on one of two rocky islets off Kanyakumari, at the point where the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean meet. It commemorates Swami Vivekananda, who is said to have meditated here in 1892. The adjacent Thiruvalluvar Statue rises from the neighbouring rock.
