This policy explains what personal data Raja Drop Taxi ("we", "us") collects when you use rajadroptaxi.com, our app, RajaBot, phone or WhatsApp. It also covers why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

Booking details: name, mobile number, email (optional), pickup and drop addresses, travel dates and times, vehicle choice, number of passengers and any request you write to us.
App account: if you sign in to our app, your account details and booking history. If you allow it, the app uses your location to fill in the pickup address.
Messages: what you type to RajaBot, our website chat assistant, and messages you send us by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the advertisement that brought you to the site. We use this for security, for preventing fraud, including fake or repeated clicks on our advertisements, and for understanding how the site is used.

2. Why we use it

To quote, confirm and carry out your trip, including sending the driver to your pickup.
To contact you about your booking by call, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
To keep records of bookings and payments.
To answer questions and complaints.
To keep the website and app secure and to detect fraud and misuse.
To improve our website, app and service.
To send offers, but only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is needed:

Your driver: your name, phone number, pickup and drop details, so they can reach you.
Service providers that run parts of our service for us:
- website and database hosting
- email delivery
- app notifications (Google Firebase)
- maps (Google Maps)
- website analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity)
- advertising measurement (Google Ads)
They may process data on servers outside India.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of passengers, drivers or the public.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to measure how it is used.
Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits and bookings from advertisements.
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll and click, with form entries masked.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

5. How long we keep it

Booking records: kept for as long as needed for accounts, tax and legal purposes.
Technical logs, including IP addresses: kept for up to 90 days, longer only while we investigate fraud or a security incident.
Chat messages: kept for up to 12 months.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and backups to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
Correct or update it.
Ask us to delete it. App users can do this from Delete account. We may keep booking records the law requires us to keep.
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.
Complain to us (section 9), and if not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

Bookings must be made by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 except as passengers named by an adult who books.
